Steps:

1. Choose a platform for your portfolio. This Guide will help you decide which platform will work best for you. 

2. Create an account on your chosen platform and set up your portfolio site.

3. As you complete General Education coursework at Chesapeake College, your classes will have signature assignments which you will add to your portfolio.

4. In your IDC class, you will organize your portfolio and select one assignment to represent one or more of the General Education competencies (see below) and write a reflection/critique of what you have produced.

General Education Competencies:

• Demonstrate technological competency.
• Apply information literacy skills to locate, evaluate and use information effectively.
• Apply scientific and quantitative reasoning skills effectively.
• Evaluate diverse forms of expression and perspectives.
• Apply values and ethical frameworks to complex problems.
