Remote Testing Services at Chesapeake College
If you reside in the area but are enrolled in online courses at another institution and require a local testing center to proctor your examinations, we're here to assist you! Our dedicated team is prepared to oversee your exams with professionalism and care. To initiate the process, simply reach out to us via phone or email, and we'll guide you through the necessary steps. Please be aware that a proctoring fee of $40 applies to most exams. While rare, if the exam presents significant challenges for administration, the proctoring fee may vary.
Furthermore, if you're planning to take the ACCUPLACER placement test for another educational institution, you can conveniently do so at Chesapeake College. We'll coordinate with you to ensure that the results are promptly forwarded to the relevant institution. Feel free to contact us for a detailed walkthrough of the procedure.

Please note that the Testing Center assesses a $40 fee for administering tests. This fee is applicable per test and not per sitting. However, Chesapeake College employees and their dependents are exempt from this fee.
Prior to testing, the fee must be paid online or at the college Business Office (located in the Dorchester Building) during regular business hours.
Our Testing Center is situated in the Learning Resource Center (LRC), Room 107. Test takers must present valid identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, and should arrive early enough to utilize their full allotted test time before the Testing Center's closing time. Appointments are necessary, and we recommend contacting us at least two days in advance to confirm scheduling and any potential changes.
