Wye Mills Campus

Chesapeake College has been fortunate to have experienced very few incidents of crime or emergency situations over the years.  In the event of an emergency situation, employees and students are encouraged to dial directly to 911 (if the situation warrants doing so) and then report the incident to the Switchboard Operator by dialing 0 from any college phone. In the event the crisis occurs after normal business hours, the Switchboard recording will provide access to Security. An employee or student may also choose to contact Security directly by dialing 410-758-7275.

Cambridge Center 

In the event of an emergency situation, employees and students are encouraged to dial directly to 911 (if the situation warrants doing so) and then report the incident to the Cambridge main office at 410-228-5754. In the event the emergency occurs during evening classes, the Security Officer at the Cambridge Center may be reached by cell phone by dialing (410) 463-4185.  Should the emergency occur during the night or on weekends, please contact Wye Mills Campus security at 410-758-7275.

Emergency Procedures 

In accordance with federal mandates, the College has compiled a Crises Management Plan which contains information and safety procedures relating to each department of the institution. Employees are expected to become familiar with the safety information and procedures related to their department.
