PARAPRO
The ParaPro Assessment is a certification exam designed to measure the skills and knowledge of prospective and practicing paraprofessionals. It assesses their abilities in reading, writing, and math, and is often required for individuals seeking employment as teacher assistants or instructional aides.

Procedure for Scheduling at Our Testing Center:
To schedule your ParaPro exam at our testing center, please follow these steps:

  • Make an Appointment: Visit the main testing center page and use the provided link to schedule your exam at the Wye Mills testing center.
  • Prepare Necessary Documents
    Please ensure to bring a valid government-issued photo ID such as a Driver’s License. This is required for identification purposes.
  • Proctoring Fee
    There will be a $40 proctoring fee associated with the exam. This fee must be paid online or at the Business Office located in the Dorchester Building before you arrive at the testing center.
  • Exam Fee
    You will need a credit card to pay the ParaPro exam fee, which is $55.
  • On Exam Day
    The testing center will provide scratch paper and pencils for your use during the exam.
    Lockers will be available to store your personal belongings securely during the exam.
